Berlin music critic who reviewed Schenker's Beethovens Neunte Sinfonie favorably in Die Zeit am Montag, March 25, 1913, giving further coverage of that work in the Neue Zeitschrift für Musik, June 1914 and issue 49, 1916. Schenker had UE send him a review copy of Die letzten fünf Sonaten von Beethoven ... op. 109 (WSLB 221, June 23, 1914; WSLB 228, September 27, 1914). Clippings of these are preserved in Schenker's scrapbook at OC 2/pp. 29, 39, 52.
