    Schenker thanks Evelina Pairamall warmly for sending him an article by Saint-Saens on manuscripts in Berlin, which covers an autograph manuscript of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, and reports to her his own work on another autograph of that work. -- He asks if she is returning to Vienna soon, and promises to show her his discoveries, concluding with a joke employing musical technical terms.
