Minor street in the 1st district of Vienna (Innere Stadt), parallel with the Franz-Josefs-Kai. The building of the Vienna central synagogue had been begun in Seitenstettengasse in 1825, and after the founding of the Israelitische Kultusgemeinde (Jewish Religious Community), the latter had its secretariat at Seitenstettengasse 4 (OJ 12/26, [1]).
